摘要

An accelerated movement is taking place toward healthcare transformation and the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care and reimbursement. The US Department of Health & Human Services (2015) has established a goal of shifting 50 percent of Medicare payments to alternative models by the end of 2018, and the Health Care Transformation Task Force (2015), an industry consortium, has committed to an aggressive goal of 75 percent of its members' businesses operating under value-based payment arrangements by 2020.
