摘要

An approach is presented which allows us to estimate the anthropogenic contributions to heavy metal accumulations in roadside agricultural soils. It uses trend analysis to partition total heavy metals into two components: anthropogenic and natural components, and then estimates the anthropogenic fluxes. The approach was used to determine the anthropogenic fluxes of heavy metals at a highway in Yixing City, China. Results show that anthropogenic components of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn account for 10.9, 23.04, 52.4, and 5.09% of their total contents, respectively. The mean anthropogenic fluxes of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn are 22.5, 24.2, 30.5 and 0.044 mg m~(-2) a~(-1), respectively. Spatially, anthropogenic fluxes decrease with increasing distance from the highway. The estimation of anthropogenic fluxes of heavy metal accumulation will be useful for modeling accumulation processes of heavy metals produced by human activities.
