The toxicity of the majority of chemical substances is assumed to originate from one of the following three types of interactions between biological tissues and chemical substances: (1) Non-specific interactions with bio membranes (2) Interactions with protein active groups (3) Interactions with specific receptor sites In the study of ecotoxicology, configuration of a testing system considering organisms will be important in the future.
