Cruising the cosmos

An amazing few years of my life have brought me to this rest stop tonight. Skyline Boulevard traces the peaks of the hills that separate Silicon Valley from the Pacific Ocean. A few miles north of the Page Mill turnoff, a small lookout offers the view I seek. As I look through the windshield across the heart of our New Economy and wonder at the remarkable transformations of human affairs incubating around the Bay Area, I take a moment to reflect upon the past decade.
