There is fear of death and disease, fear of financial ruin, fear of the unseen harm. And then there's that sickening fear before which all others pale-the fear of appearing silly when everybody's looking at you. This is the fear that cuts your life in two while you're waiting to deliver a toast at a wedding, or give a sales presentation or appear in an amateur play.
