Tim Allen always cries that he wants his machines to have "more power―arrrrrggh!" In his TV sitcom, Home Improvement, and his standup routines, the testosterone-fueled Allen lives for ever-better contraptions that can do ever-more constructive (read destructive) things. Like Allen's characters, I am a tech buff. I want technology to do more for me, and I believe that enough like-minded customers are out there that the sector is going to enjoy a very profitable future.
