If you come across a company that hides its light under a bushel—and is buying in shares—take a closer look. It could be a terrific bargain. Some corporations spend much time and effort preening themselves for Wall Street. They court analyst's with conference calls, shower the PR Newswire with good news and issue a stream of earnings guidance to make their shares less volatile and thus more desirable.
