Kosme UK, supplier of bespoke, turnkey filling, labelling, packaging and conveying machines, has launched its highspeed, end-of-line Flypack shrink wrapper to meet demand for secondary packing.The Kosme Flypack machine is ideal for grouping together products such as bottles, cans and glass jars in multi-packs, and runs at 45 packs a minute. It uses separate product-compacting, wrapper, and heat-shrink units to unite already-packed products together in a secondary pack. With tray erector and layer-pad inserter module, it can also handle trays. The machine can easily cope with different formats of product, including cylindrical, rectangular and square containers in glass, polymer or aluminium.
