Elite wraparound cartoning system to be launched at the show

Kliklok International will launch its new Certiwrap Elite wraparound cartoning system at the PPMA show. Visitors to the Kliklok stand will see a live demonstration of the new equipment, which is designed to handle more complex meal trays, tubs or pot shapes - individually, in multi-packs or layered - in a wide range of formats. Capable of improving flexibility on the production line, the Elite is said to adapt easily to different pack styles, making it ideal for full sleeves, wraparound sleeves and gusseted packs as well as upright shelf-ready display-style cartons. Thanks to a new modular design, it also enhances functionality and repeatability, helping manufacturers adapt to changing market requirements. It features a choice of twin- or triple-arm carton feeders to improve handling and is designed to increase throughput rates on high-speed lines. It is capable of packaging at speeds of up to 300 cartons a minute, dependent on flight pitch.
