French fries with nacho cheese dip debut at Taco Bell

IRVINE, CALIF. - Nacho Fries launched nationwide at Taco Bell, a Yum! Brands, Inc., business unit. The new item features crispy, thick-cut french fries with a bold Mexican seasoning and a side of warm nacho cheese dip. The fast-food chain is billing the launch as its "most-anticipated menu item release of the year." Nacho Fries will be available for a limited time for $1. For an additional charge, customers may order the fries topped with beef, pico de gallo, nacho cheese and sour cream. The product was tested in West Virginia and Bakersfleld, Calif., markets last spring.
