On October 2 the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Avro Lancaster I PA474 Mickey the Moocher flew from its home base at Coningsby, Lines, to Coventry Airport where Air Atlantique began a scheduled major winter service on the aircraft the following day. Air Atlantique was awarded the contract earlier in the year and the aircraft will be worked on by a special team that will be overseen by Chief Engineer, Ben Cox. A core team of six will carry out most of the tasks, though other personnel will be called in as the need arises.
