Whether it be dogfighting over France in 1917 or in a jet over Korea in 1952, these three necessities remained true.rnIn Korea, the new North American F-86 Sabre ruled the skies over northwest North Korea, but they had plenty of competition from the Soviet-built Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 Fagot. The kill advantage held by the Sabre pilots was duernmostly to their training and experience. Both aircraft were closely matched on speed, but the advantage of quick 'knock-down firepower was held by the MiG-15.
