When it comes to warbirds and classics, Southern California's Chino Airport has been truly blessed by the gods of aviation. Operated by the County of San Bernardino, it has become a haven not only for private and corporate aviation, but also a home to restoration operations and two world-class air museums. Of those, Planes of Fame has certainly made its mark, particularly in the worldwide warbird community. But, the equally impressive, yet somewhat low-key, Yanks Air Museum deserves some recognition as well.
