Tucano goes on guard

After just 16 years in operational service, Short Tucano T.1 ZF202 took up 'gate guard' duties at Linton-on-Ouse, Yorkshire, in late June. It is the first of its type to be displayed in such a way at an RAF establishment.rnThis example made its first flight on July 26,1989, and was delivered on August 22 that year. Afterrnoperating from Scampton, Lines, and Cranwell, Lines, and Linton-on-Ouse, its last flight was on July 26, 2005, when it went into storage at Shawbury, Shropshire.
