Volker Schuelke's Hispano Buchon D-FMVS made its first post overhaul flight in Germany on May 12. Experienced warbird pilot Walter Eichhorn was at the controls.rnThe airframe, a Spanish-built, Merlin-engined Messerschmitt Bf 109, was previously based in the US as N109W and before that flew in the film The Battle of Britain as G-AWHT.
