Atreasured exhibit at the Wings World War Two Remembrance Museum at Balcombe, West Sussex, is the substantial remains of a Nakajima B5N, one of a handful of Japanese World War Two types in the UK. Best known by its Allied reporting name Kate, this three-seat torpedo bomber is the only one of its breed on public display anywhere in the world.rnLong fascinated by Japanese types, I was first invited to survey the Wings Museum Kate in 2004, when the collection was based at Redhill, Surrey.
