Lightning photos

Thanks for the article concerning the Gutersloh Lightnings [August issue]. I was fortunate enough to fly Lightnings on 92 Squadron in the early 1970s and can provide the details of the photograph of the five-ship formation shown on page 111. The photo was taken on June 8,1973 by Arthur Gibson. Arthur was taking pictures of "What ex Red Arrows are doing now" for Ray Hanna's book on the Arrows and Terry Kingsley, a former member of the team, was on 92 at the time. Terry flew Arthur in the [Lightning] T-4 and he took a whole series of pictures, one of which appears in Ray Hanna's book on page 172.1 was on the outside right of the picture in the magazine and the second Lightning in the photo in the book. Happy days.
