Well travelled Chipmunk in Australia

DHC Chipmunk WP804 has arrived in Australia and will soon take to the air in its original 1960s RAF orange and silver scheme as VH-QOZ. After being 'demobbed' in 1976, the 'Chippie' went to the United States and passed through the hands of at least three owners as N804WP. Late last year, it was purchased by Greg Blades of New South Wales, Australia. WP804, currently awaiting reassembly at Bankstown-based AirAg, is a 1952-built T.10 that is believed to have been used for spin trials in 1958 at Hatfield, Herts.
