'42nd' Comper Swift arrives at Breighton

Breighton, Yorkshire's Real Aeroplane Company took delivery of airworthy Comper CLA.7 Swift replica G-LCGL in January. Built by John Greenland in 1993 after around 8,000 hours of work, it first flew in August of that year. Although technically a replica, around one-third of its parts are original and it is powered by a Pobjoy Niagara 1A engine, leading many to describe it as the '42nd Comper Swift' (41 Swifts were built).
