Fond Canberra memories

The article and illustrations showing RNZAF roundel markings down the years brought back some memories of my early days as an armourer in the RAF, especially the illustration of Canberra B(l)12 NZ6105. Following trade training, in 1959 I was stationed on my first operational unit at Binbrook, Lines, as an SAC Armament Mechanic (Bombs), employed in the station armoury, servicing bomb beams and bomb release units. Interesting work, but I was still at the bottom of my learning curve.
