Howard Pardue

Respected airshow pilot and warbird owner Howard Pardue died on April 4 when his Grumman F8F Bearcat crashed shortly after take-off in Breckenridge, Texas. He was 77. A former Marine Corps' pilot and instructor, Howard was a renowned air racer, having competed at Reno, and was also a member of the Navy Legacy Flight team, which performs formation flights in modern US Navy fighters. The US National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the tragic accident that claimed Howard's life. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
