For many years, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) has operated the nation's only airworthy Avro Lancaster, PA474. Most airshow visitors have probably long assumed that the prospect of seeing another Lancaster flying in the UK was all but nil. But now, barely ten miles from the BBMF's hangar at Coningsby, the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is finalising plans to put a second four-engined World War Two-era bomber back into UK skies.
