Veteran Ju 52 awaits restoration

Argentina's Museo Nacional de Aeronautica has moved its Junkers Ju 52/3mge from its site at Moron to the airbase at Rio Cuarto where it will receive a full restoration. Believed to be the world's oldest surviving Ju 52, it was manufactured at Dessau, Germany in 1934. After a brief career with German national airline Lufthansa as D-ABIS Kurt Wolff, it was transferred to a subsidiary company, Brazil-based Syndicate Condor with whom it flew as PP-CAX.
