The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum (FLAM) aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California has taken delivery of former VAQ-131 Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler 161882. The machine, delivered on February 4, was previously based with its unit, a specialist Electronic Attack Sguadron aboard Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington state. Prior to that, it operated with VMAQ-1, -2, -3, and -4, and is scheduled to be returned to the colours of the VMAQ-3. A crew from VAQ-131 has 'demilitarised' the Prowler, and prepared it for retirement at the museum.
