Vulcan Trust's wing signing appeal under way

Vulcan to the Sky Trust enthusiasts have until October 1 for their names to be painted on the underside of Avro Vulcan XH558's wing. Names will be applied in small silver letters over the existing grey paint on two areas of the wing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the aircraft's return to flight. The new markings will not detract from the aesthetic appearance of the Vulcan and will be visible only on close viewing. They will remain in place for its lifetime, being replaced if the surfaces are repainted.
