Wirraway being restored to fly in Australia

CAC Wirraway CA-3 Mk.ll A20-99 is being rebuilt inside the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) workshop at Albion Park Airport, south of Sydney. Built in 1940, A20-99 served with three units during World War Two, before being used as a ground-based training aid in the 1960s. It was bought by Eric Lundberg in 1990, who subseguently struck a deal with HARS to return the aircraft to the sky.
