Bengt Hermansson, the owner of Heinkel He 111H-3Wk Nr 6830, has decided to sell the partially restored bomber. Bengt and his team recovered the former Luftwaffe machine from Lake Sitasjaure in Sweden, close to the Norwegian border, in 2008. Since then, the He 1UH-3 has been under restoration at Morup by members of the Forced Landing Collection Society. Work has concentrated on the nose section and centre fuselage. Two Jumo 211D engines have also been refurbished. Parts of two other He lllH-3s (5607 and 7155) have been incorporated in the rebuild.
