Chilean Beech E18 to be moved to museum

Beech E18S 'CCHV is to be moved from Porvenir in Chile to Santiago's Museo Nacional Aeronautico y del Espacio. The aircraft was formerly operated by Punta Arenas-based Linea Aerea Tama, but was grounded on August 1,1980 because of damage sustained during an accident at Porvenir. Due to an engine problem, the aircraft veered off the runway, crippling its undercarriage and right wingtip. It has remained at the Chilean airfield ever since.
