If you just happen to pass by the Tea-neck Armory in Teaneck, N.J. on a Wednesday morning, stop in. Among the freeflights and the indoor R/C models that amicably share the ample skies of this big indoor area you'll probably see Hector Santemma. And more than likely he may be flying his R.A.F. F.E. 8. Watch it fly, and you'll soon be impressed with how well it takes to the air, and also how scale it looks. Hector impressed a fair number of the fliers at this site, which is becoming one of the major indoor modeling sites in the country. Among them is Cross Files columnist Don Ross who gently—well, maybe not so gently—nagged me to consider Hector's plane for a construction article. So I did, since Don's recommendations are pretty much right on.
