There was so much to tell you about in this issue but it seems so unim- portant now since we learned a few days ago that Randy Randolph died unexpectedly on April 8. The Internet and e-mails have been buzzing with this news, and message after message relays how much readers enjoyed the articles he wrote over so many years, and that all that fame and notoriety never sullied his courtesy, his humor, his willingness to help others. He was always a gentleman and a fine person.
