I have always been partial to WWII aircraft (Luftwaffe aircraft in particular) because I think they represent one of the largest quantum leaps in technology that mankind experienced in the last century. A few year's ago I was introduced to www. Luft46.com where my suspicions were confirmed; I saw just how far German scientists had progressed with the development of the airplane during the early 1940s. Although my praise of German aircraft may be considered passionate, I want to make it clear that I do not believe in the goals of the Nazi Party nor do I sympathize with those who served willingly for the Third Reich. I'm just a model airplane buff who recognizes and appreciates good design for what it is, regardless of origin.
