C-130 Hercules

Ten years ago I spotted a new four-bladed propeller in my hobby shop meant for a P-51 Mustang. Having been a Hercules mechanic in the Air Force, all I saw was a C-130 propeller and went to work on the model that would be the prototype for the model presented here. Originally flown with brushed speed 300s and a single 8-cell Ni-Cd pack, the model flew like an over loaded cargo plane struggling for altitude. You may remember this model from the cover of Flying Models October 2003, a first for me.
