X-47B makes first flight with US Navy

The Northrop Grumman X-47B has made its first flight from the US Navy's main flight test centre at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, with the 35min debut, staged on 29 July.Both air vehicles produced for the navy's unmanned combat air system demonstration (UCAS-D) programme were transported by truck to the location from Edwards AFB in California, where they had each completed earlier check-out flights. The first flight at Patuxent River was made using air vehicle two.
