Soft ground puts brakes on A400M dirt strip landings

Airbus Military had to cut short its first series of un-paved runway trials involving the A400M, after encountering softer than expected ground conditions in Germany. Development aircraft MSN2 was flown from Toulouse to Cott-bus-Drewitz airport on 22 May, and had been expected to remain at the location for several days while it performed landings using a grass strip.
