We are celebrating not only the significant contribution that Airbus has made in shaping the aerospace industry we know today, but also recognising the critical role it continues to play in driving aviation to new frontiers. Airbus's evolution, and the relationship with its supply chain, has always been defined by its relentless drive for continuous improvement, constantly advancing quality, efficiency and technology. Meggitt's personal journey with Airbus started back in the early 1970s with the launch of the ground-breaking A300 widebody jet, when we were selected to develop a lightweight, streamlined fire protection system with enhanced reliability.
