Superjet gets wider appeal as EASA approves narrow runway operations

European approval has been granted for Sukhoi's Superjet 100 to operate from narrow runways down to 30m (98ft) wide. The airframer says the certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency is part of a strategy to increase the scope of the aircraft's capabilities.
