There is little doubt today that flexographic printers/converters are under pressure to meet rising environmental standards. Many are developing rigorous recycling programs, working to cut down on VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and striving to adhere to proper procedures for disposing of hazardous waste. Lean Manufacturing and similar trends are inspiring others to reap the benefits of reduced waste.
