BOBST TO EXPAND AFRICAN PRESENCE WITH NEW OFFICE IN NIGERIA

Bobst plans to open an office in Lagos, Nigeria, to enhance the support provided to customers in West and Central Africa. A formal announcement was made in September at an event attended by roughly 50 VIP guests, including Nigerian government officials, Bobst representatives and many area packaging and label companies. "West Africa - and Nigeria in particular - is a very dynamic market," says Samir Khoudja, Bobst's managing director for the Middle East. "By opening an office in Lagos, the city with the (largest) population in the most populous country in Africa, we will be closer to our customers and able to provide them with an even higher standard of service. Establishing this presence in Lagos is a significant step for Bobst, and we expect that it will lead to further expansion in the region."
