Working on referrals from crews and other agencies such as social services, mental health teams, local authorities, housing associations and the police, the six-strong team deals with those whose lifestyle places them at higher risk of fire, or whose well-being is a concern as a result of poor health, age or a personal circumstance like domestic abuse.
