It is essential PPE manufacturers pay close attention to this topic before they can expect firefighters to rely on their kit as they tackle the many difficult and dangerous tasks they face. This need for outstanding health and safety protection is a vital consideration for manufacturers when they are designing and developing new PPE kit. This is particularly important in terms of providing high levels of thermal protection that help prevent the wearer developing a dangerously high body temperature - something which can adversely affect their ability to make effective decisions in a life and death situation.
