摘要

Crew Manager Bob Patton, who normally serves at Eastleigh Fire Station, is one of 27 Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) staff who have stepped forward to support the ICUs at hospitals across Hampshire. The firefighters offered their specialist skills to help local healthcare colleagues who have come under intense pressure during the pandemic. Bob's recognition comes from a heartfelt letter written by the family of a patient who was in Southampton General Hospital's (SGH) ICU. Lauren Anderson and Ben Woodley's mother, Carol Woodley, sadly passed away from Covid-19, aged 59.
