INTRINSICALLY SAFE MANUAL CALL POINT

KAC has launched a new intrinsically safe addressable indoor manual call point. The new version of the MCP5A-IS has been tested and approved by LPCB for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas. The new device, available to suit flush or surface mounted versions, enables the manual initiation of an addressable fire alarm system to be implemented from within the hazardous area where potentially explosive gases are occasionally present during normal operations. The units are rated II 1G Ex ia IICT4.
