Two Recent prosecutions by London Fire Brigade have resulted in large fines. Greggs the bakers was fined £50,000 with £20,300 costs after pleading guilty to a number of failures at a shop in Brentford, including corridors partially blocked by plastic crates and a locked fire exit. In a separate case, brewery Punch Taverns paid out £27,400 in fines and costs after pleading guilty to seven breaches at the Milestone pub and the first floor of the premises, which was being used as a house in multiple occupancy.
