Apollo fire Detectors has appointed Karl Westhead as technical director EMEA, reinforcing its focus on innovation and bringing its EMEA board to full strength. Announcing the new appointment, Apollo's managing director of EMEA Steve Brown said: 'Apollo is committed to providing the most advanced fire protection systems possible. Karl's appointment means we now have the full team in place to implement our strategic plan and deliver the next generation of innovative fire detection products.' Most recently, Karl was engineering director at Avire, also a Halma company.
