Government urged to fully'fund HPL cladding removal

AFTER THE government recently revealed the risks of high pressure laminate (HPL) cladding when partnered with combustible insulation, leaseholders have demanded removal funding. Recently, the government undertook a fire test with the FPA of a particular combination of HPL cladding and insulation, and even though this particular combination passed, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has warned that action must be taken 'as soon as possible' to make HPL panels safe, 'particularly' if used on buildings with combustible insulation.
