Activated Carbon Conference and Courses Conies to Pittsburgh

The annual International Activated Carbon Conference or IACC-28 will be held near the Pittsburgh International Airport at the Holiday Inn, October 6-7, 2011. This conference and training courses are focused on activated carbons. Carbons are applied in an amazingly wide variety of commercial uses. Several new activated carbon applications are emerging and will be discussed at IACC-28. Oral presentations are 35 minutes and ample time for discussions is provided. The conference will honor three new members by induction into the IACC Hall of Fame. An important part of IACC is awarding this prestigious award to individuals who have done outstanding technical, business, education or stewardship for the activated carbon industry.
