Challenge Testing - Current Technologies and Future Prospects

The measurement of filter aperture sizes, especially for complex 3D woven meshes has until now, been ambivalent because the only two techniques available were Porometry and Challenge Testing using Test Dusts. Porometry is a second order technique dependent on a number of theories and assumptions and as such, does not give results that can be traced directly to the International meter.
