Hamamatsu Corp. introduces a G8931-03 InGaAs avalanche photodiode (APD) designed for use in high-speed optical fiber communications networks, such as Gigabit Ethernet and SONET/ SDH. Featuring high reliability, high-speed response, low capacitance and low noise, the G8931-03 assures high-quality data transmission over the 1.31/1.55 gm bands.
