The month of July was relatively un-eventful, apart from a slight firming of prices. Volumes stayed more or less unchanged. The only interesting thing we have noted is continued strengthening focus from Chinese and Indian breakers on container tonnage and same with Bangladesh' focus on tankers. This has led to a small price hike for such tonnage in the respective countries. Pakistan finally came back to the market with the purchase of a tanker and we expect to see more activity there in the coming months.
