Bourbon Marine introduces high speed monohull crewboat

The Chantiers Piriou yard in the French port of Concarneau has delivered the first of two 36m monohull crewboats ordered by Bourbon Offshore for operation off the west coast of Africa. The vessels, Surfer 3601 and Surfer 3602, have been designed by Bureau Mauric.rnReferring to Surfer 3601, Chantiers Piriou says, "This is a new generation crewboat with features related to travelling to areas far out to sea. The accent was put on passenger comfort, with a sound proofed cabin and maximum vibration reduction for example, a speed of up to 44 knots optimised by a new hull shape and a very long range of 500 nautical miles.
